Recently, I took a trip to Cincinnati where I had the opportunity to see Doc Severinsen perform with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. After the concert, some friends and I slipped in the back gate to the Green Room where we had a chance to meet Doc. We waited for about 15 minutes. The door opened and in came Doc with a smile on his face and a cigar hanging out his mouth.

I have been a fan of Doc Severinsen since I was is was a small boy. I used to stay up late every night and watch the Tonight Show just to catch a glempse of the Greatest Trumpet Player in the World! I have got to say that meeting Doc was one of the most memorable moments in my life. Here are a few pictures from our trip.
