High School Vocal Music (9-12)
Delrae Glidwell
1976 -
Delrae Glidwell has taught vocal music at
Bolivar since 1976 and has served in many areas of the music department
for the last 28 years. Most recently (1991 - 2005) she has taught
vocal music at Bolivar Intermediate School where her groups have won
many awards and accolades. Many of her groups throughout the
course of her career at Bolivar have performed at Royals Games, Worlds
of Fun in Kansas City and MMEA State Convention 3 times-1 with the High
School and 2 with the Intermediate School. Mrs. Glidwell's High
School ensembles and choirs have received Superior ratings at District
and State contests, won sweepstakes at Worlds of Fun Music Festivals and
other honors too numerous to mention. In 1997 Mrs. Glidwell was
recognized as a Bolivar Master Teacher.

Kris McClard
2002-
Kris McClard has been teaching
music at Bolivar since 2002 and is starting her 15th year of teaching.
She spent her first three years in Bolivar teaching K-2 vocal music and
is now the Music Director at Bolivar Intermediate School. Mrs. McClard earned
her Bachelors degree in Music and Elementary Education
from Southeast Missouri State University and her Master's
degree in Curriculum Education from Rockford College,
Rockford, Illinois. Her husband, Steve
McClard, is the Director of Bands at Bolivar High School.
